How it works
Each mark you place sends your opponent to the matching box. Mark the top-center cell of any box, and they must play in the top-center box.
If that box is closed (captured or full), they can play in any open box.
Capturing a box sets the opponent free: after any capture (including echo chains), their next move can be in any open box.
Capturing a box also marks the matching cell in every other open box (echo marks). Echoes are real marks: they can complete lines and chain-capture more boxes.
A captured box becomes that player's mark on the big board. Get 3 captured boxes in a row to win.
